Dr. Kamp and his team specialize in gentle, so-called minimal-invasive surgical techniques from benign to malignant diseases of the kidney, ureter, bladder, prostate, and the urethra. He is especially experienced in the potency preserving endoscopic surgery of the prostate cancer and the organ-sparing surgical procedures in the treatment of kidney cancer.
Further areas of focus are the laser-supported treatment of the benign prostate hyperplasia and of renal and ureteral calculi, all the gentle methods for the treatment of bladder weakness, the medical treatment of tumour diseases, the treatment of infertility as well as the treatment of age-related hormonal imbalance.
Due to his long experience in General and Cardiac Surgery, his specialized education at the Urological University Hospital in Mannheim, and his work as Head Physician, Dr. Kamp can look back on 20 years of clinical experience and a broad spectrum of medicine. He has thereby performed more than 2,000 surgeries and has medically treated more than 4,000 patients.
He is a member of different international professional associations and has participated as a coordinator in numerous scientific studies in the field of cancer therapy. Dr. Kamp also worked as a specialist for the treatment of the prostate carcinoma for the EUrology Academy. He is a member of the European Board of Urology, the European Association of Urology, the German Society for Urology, and the Mannheim-Harvard-Medical-Education Alliance.
